The U.S. Small Business Administration
awarded ACI the Administrator’s Award for Excellence in
recognition of “outstanding contributions and service” for work
at the Kennedy Space Center (KSC) on behalf of the National
Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). Also, the
Florida Trust for Historic Preservation honored ACI for
significant achievements “in the preservation of Florida’s rich
heritage” for the “Window to the Past,” a state-of-the-art
excavation and archaeological exhibition at Historic Spanish
Point in Osprey, Florida. |

ACI co-principal, Joan Deming was honored to participate
as the Keynote Speaker at the Kennedy Space Center Opening
Ceremony for the 2004 Environmental and Energy Awareness
Week. In keeping with the overall theme, Ms. Deming
focused on environmental changes in Florida over the past
12,000 years, and how these alterations both influenced
and impacted the succession of aboriginal cultures in
various parts of the state. |
